Last weekend I replaced the rear brakes on my 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup.
I’m living the dream!
I started Saturday around 9 and finished Sunday around 2. Yes, it took a long time.
Even though I watched a ton of videos about changing brakes I had to learn some things. The caliper mounting bolts were frozen and the brake pads threw me for a loop.
Sunday afternoon I felt an incredible sense of accomplishment and a touch of exhaustion. Being hyper-focused on brakes for a day and a half takes a toll.
I learned two valuable lessons over the weekend.
Focus on one thing at a time.
You can do anything you set your mind to.

Congrats on the brakes. Mechanical NOT on my list-to-do: many years ago I claimed to be instrumental in keeping my 1970 MG-B on the road (lot of electrical).
Can I ask a garden Q? Ten year old e-ivy climbs deck rail as intended (5′)…but only by late august (back of wide east shaded garden).
Electrical, you must have a lot of patience. English Ivy doesn’t die back to the ground every Fall. I would think it would climb the rails. I would imagine you would have to cut it off the house several times a year. When I was a kid we had English Ivy on our stone chimney. As the youngest child it was my job to climb to the top of the ladder and cut it off. Are you leaving it on the railings or removing it ever Fall?
